Kempamma Devi Temple at Bajaguru, near Tiptur of Tumkur district

Bajaguru place is surrounded by 4 temples. Kempamma & Kollapuramma is famous for solving health & wealth related problems. And for this you have to do "madalakki seve".

Mulagattamma is famous for solving land related problems. And for this you have to take the sand of snake house to your home & do the pooja's regularly and once your problem is solved then you have to return back to the temple.


Anjaneya temple is famous for solving black magic related problems.


Reaching Bajaguru:
Bajaguru is about 15 kms from Tiptur. One can reach Tiptur via Tumkur from Bangalore. There are plenty of busses ply to Tiptur from Bangalore city. Also you can reach Tiptur by train. One or two city buses are available to reach Bajaguru.

Chowdeshwari Temple at Dasarighatta, near Tiptur of Tumkur district

The secret of this temple is a panchaloha idol of Sri Chowdeshwari Devi, which write backs the reply if a question is asked orally or even in mind.


You have to buy the ticket for each question. They charge Rs 100/- for one person or one family and you can ask 3 to 4 questions. Two people can sit infront of choowdwshwari and they can ask their questions. The answering process is incredible: two illiterate devotees hold the base of the vigraha which has a kalasha (or pointer) at the top.


Once the question is posed, devotees sets the kalasha on a table covered with a thin layer of sandal powder. In the layer of sandal, with the kalasha, devotees begins to write automatically. Some times the kalasha shakes, jumps and thrashes from side to side. Then devotees read the answers written on the table and tell us.

Reaching Dasarighatta:
Dasarighatta is about 10 kms from Tiptur. One can reach Tiptur via Tumkur from Bangalore. There are plenty of busses ply to Tiptur from Bangalore city. Also you can reach Tiptur by train. Dasarighatta is around 5km from railway station. From Bus stand, Auto driver will charge Rs 100/- for one way. Also city buses are available to reach Dasarighatta.
